Wicker Wings started with siblings Belinda and James, who learned about their Grandma making baskets in China for a better life. Today, many women in rural Asia still rely on such crafts.

We started Wicker Wings to honour our Grandma's story and help today's female artisans. We call it Māma's Mission, inspired by our Grandma's independence through this skill and craft.

Our Grandma, Māma, could not afford higher education and with limited opportunity in rural Asia, she weaved baskets to support her family.

Now, we carry on her legacy with "Māma's Mission," helping women like her earn a living through our handmade, sustainable wicker handbags.
